When I’m not working directly on a project, I am constantly sketching or writing down ideas for new ones. The artists around me continually inspire me at the institute and all the media I consume. Cartoons, books, poems, and exhibitions are always at the back of my mind when thinking about art. Every aspect of my life inspires me, even when I don’t know it.

The print process is very important to me. When I draw in my sketchbook, I am breaking it apart into layers and thinking about the reversed image. Being trained in printmaking, I will always see art differently.
